Miley Cyrus says 'we love Britney' at Super Bowl LV, fans are glad 'FreeBritney movement is getting bigger'
Miley Cyrus showed Brtiney Spears some love at Super Bowl LV, the 51st modern-era National Football League championship game. The ‘Wrecking Ball’ singer has once again shown her support for Britney as she sang ‘Party In The USA’ yelling "We Love Britney" at her Super Bowl pre-show performance. Cyrus is known to shout "Free Britney" at her concerts.
She said in an interview with iHeartRadio on Friday that she doesn't know Spears well and feels like "another public speculator". “It’s a treat others the way you wanted to be treated kind of thing. I definitely don’t know her personally enough to know any of the details," Cyrus told Today.com. "I scream a lot of things at my show. I also think Britney, like anyone else, should have the freedom to live the life that’s most authentic to her."

One fan noted, "I’m so so thrilled that major celebrities are finally getting on board with #FreeBritney. I know Miley did ages ago but nothing since. 2021 is going to be a good year for @britneyspears and one hell of a crappy one for @LouMTaylor @tristarteam... #FramingBritneySpears." Another seemed to have predicted today's shoutout to Spears, saying, "I hope Miley slips in a #FreeBritney #FramingBritneySpears reference in her Super Bowl performance how I iconic and full circle that would be."

Spears, 38, has been under conservatorship since 2008 after dealing with mental health breakdowns in the public eye. The arrangement enables the pop icon's father and an attorney to manage her financial assets, estate and career negotiations. #FreeBritney campaign fans believe the arrangement is being used to manipulate the singer and have pointed to her recent unusual social media posts as possible coded messages asking for help.
