Who is Michelle Mootreddy? Pete Davidson's 'fake wife' arrested for trespassing after 'marriage' press release
A woman who recently made false claims that she married 'Saturday Night Live' star Pete Davidson, has been arrested for trespassing onto the comedian’s Staten Island home, reports said on Thursday, March 18. The suspect, who has been identified as Michelle Mootreddy, slipped in through an open side door and sat on his kitchen table. Although Davidson, 27, wasn't home at that time, a relative of his discovered the intruder and called the police. Michelle has not yet been charged.
This was following the fact that the woman also created a false press release declaring their nuptials and even declared that the duo had founded a production company. The press release is no longer available.

Who is Michelle Mootreddy?
Mootreddy, who uses pronouns they/them released a statement on Tuesday, March 16, via Bodega Cats Presents, a 'production company'. The statement in the press release, read: "Pete and Michelle were childhood friends prior to starting Bodega Cats Presents and are married." It also quoted the 'pseudo-groom' as saying: "I am really excited to be part of this company and help people get a start in this industry." It went on to add. "I never thought I would do something like this, but I met some of my closest friends doing stand-up, so I felt this was the right thing to do to give back to my community."
Both their names were included as co-founders and co-CEOs on the website Bodega Cats, which aims 'to increase diversity & belonging in the entertainment industry by curating experiences that have a cultural & social impact,' according to Daily Mail. On the bogus production company’s website, which has since been deleted, Mootreddy claims to have graduated with a bachelor's in political science from the University of Rochester in 2017. "Not a word of it is true. Mr. Davidson has no idea who this person is. We are investigating and considering all legal and equitable remedies," Davidson's lawyers said via Page Six while issuing a response.
Mootreddy's personal website says she grew up in the Bronx borough of New York City. According to law enforcement sources, she showed up at Davidson's Annadale property at about 3:30 pm and knocked on the door, which was answered by Davidson's mother who asked her to leave. Shortly after, Mootreddy walked around the side of the home and entered through the back door. She told police, when they came in, that she has “a telepathic love connection” with the comedian, according to sources.
What is true is that Mootreddy has been charged with two counts of stalking and one count of criminal trespassing. She was also slapped with two violations, including one for harassment, authorities said.
Davidson, 27, on the other hand, is set to star in the upcoming “Suicide Squad” as Blackguard and will appear in an updated version of “The Things They Carried.”
