LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Michael Weatherly is reportedly not behaving easily with the creators of ‘NCIS’ over a possible comeback on the show. As per reports, the 54-year-old actor, who played the character of Special Agent Anthony Dinozzo, has been hinting to his fans on social media about his possible return to the police procedural television series.

RadarOnline.com reported that the show’s executives do not have any issue with having him back, but are balking at some of the riders he's attaching to his comeback. Weatherly’s apparent demand of also bringing back Cote de Pablo, 43, who played his love interest Ziva David on the show, and 93-year-old Robert Wagner, who played Anthony Dinozzo, is not sitting well with the makers.

‘Michael better be careful’

A source shared, “Michael loves to stir things up and get fans excited about his comeback, but he’s doing himself no favors by being so demanding. The bosses are tearing their hair out over their terms.” The insider also reportedly claimed that executives may take Pablo in for guest appearances, but not Wagner as he’s “happily retired”.

The ‘NCIS’ team is apparently more keen to work with Mark Harmon again, who left the show two years ago. Another source mentioned, “Michael better be careful or he might be the one left out in the cold!”

‘Michael comes off as an immature’

As per reports, Weatherly and Harmon have not been on good terms. The ‘Bull’ star reportedly earlier said, “Mark Harmon and I were on different poles. I was Antarctica, he was the North Pole, and we were just looking down there going, ‘What is up with your polarity? What’s going on? The water goes down the drain the other way for me.'”

Weatherly added, “He was confused by my presence right from the get-go. I was like a little kid who had one too many bowls of Count Chocula!” However, an insider stated, “Mark’s a legend, and people don’t take kindly to Michael talking junk about him. Michael comes off as an immature a—and jealous, too.”

They added, “If he had half a brain, he’d shut up, but Michael’s a big oaf, and his ego needs constant stroking!”

‘Wishing you and your family strength’

This comes after Weatherly shared about his brother’s death on Twitter a few days ago. He wrote, “My younger brother Will Weatherly shed his mortal coil on April 20th, 2023, and now continues his journey through the universe. He always liked to travel. As difficult as it is say goodbye- for friends and family- we know there is a smile with his memory. Rest in peace, brother.”

Many people posted their support for him and his family as a user said, “My very deepest sympathy to you and your family.” Another user tweeted, “😢 wishing you and your family strength and your brother peace on his journey 🌈.” The third one shared, “Sorry for your loss Michael. My sincere condolences to you and your family.  Thoughts and prayers are with all of you.” The fourth one added, “I'm sorry for your loss Michael,  memories will live on they will not fade as you remember times spent together. My deepest condolences to you and your family ❤.”
