Apparently, a YouTube video was also being circulated around the same. One user said, "I just saw a @YouTube video expressing condolences to his family. I won't put up the link it. I don't want it to get tons of views. I Googled and now checked Twitter only to see it was false. How cruel." Another user said, "it’s crazy that YouTube is allowing the fake videos about this." Yet another chimed in, "just another reminder of how big a person is if idiot trolls are making up death rumors about them."

Michael became a household name for his appearances in the ‘Back To The Future’ trilogy, playing time travelling teen Marty McFly. The first installment released in 1985, followed by two other installments in 1989 and 1990, respectively.
In 1998, Michael publicly disclosed that he had Parkinson's disease, which he was diagnosed with seven years earlier. Subsequently, Michael campaigned for finding a cure and founded the Michael J Fox Foundation in 2000 to help fund research. The disease's worsening symptoms forced Michael to have a less active career but he continued to make guest appearances on television, including recurring roles on the FX comedy-drama 'Rescue Me' (2009) and the CBS legal drama 'The Good Wife' (2010–2016). Michael was last seen on the NBC sitcom 'The Michael J Fox Show' (2013–2014). Michael announced his decision to retire from acting in 2020 due to his dwindling health.
Michael is married to actress Tracy Pollan in 1988. Together, the couple have four children - son Sam Michael, 31, twins Aquinnah Kathleen and Schuyler Frances, 25, and 19-year-old Esme.
