On Wednesday, April 12, the 'Rosemary's Baby' actress, 78, tweeted in a since-deleted post, "Here's my unkind thought of the day: I'm getting a little bit tired of Harry and Meghan." Following this, she added a second tweet that said, "Of course those who remember the heartbreaking image of Harry, a child, walking behind his mums casket - and we can only wish him & both of them every happiness." As expected, the statement was received poorly by the 'Sussex Squad', a virtual community of supporters dedicated to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

One Twitter user commented, "Wishing them both 'every happiness' isn't joining on the dogpile. Meghan has been seen twice this year, both times getting into a car. She hasn't spoken publicly. And yet... Perhaps what you're tired of is the constant tabloid sensationalism around their every move?" A second said, "Imagine, @MiaFarrow attacking a woman that has been harassed by the media for years. Meghan has been seen twice this year getting into vehicles. She left 3 years ago and 50+ articles are written about her daily. This is the kind of female solidarity that overturned Wade," while another replied, saying, "All Meghan & Harry are trying to do is humanitarian work, raise their kids in a safe, loving environment. The American dream. Yet they are attacked because they chose to do this outside of the confines of an agreement the family made with the same press that hounded his mother."

That Harry and Meghan should take abuse and betrayal if it supports the monarchy? How deranged. So Louis shouldn't do or say anything if his partner is mistreated by family or press in the future?" A user asked Farrow why she was being "hateful". The comment read, "Saw your nasty remark about Harry and Meghan. You deleted it rather quickly, but many people saw it. Why are you being so hateful? Being in the spotlight for many years for various reasons, I don’t recall people being that nasty to you. Do better Mia."

Another Twitter user shared stories from Farrow's 'toxic' relationship with director Woody Allen, writing, "Imagine having this many skeletons in one's closet but having the nerve to say you are tired of a man and woman you do not know and have not been seen or heard from in months. Mia Farrow should be somewhere minding her business."

For two decades, the actress and filmmaker Allen have been at the center of a public dispute over conflicting allegations of abuse. Allen's adopted daughter, Dylan, has accused him of sexually assaulting her when she was seven years old. On the other hand, Farrow's other adopted children, Soon-Yi Previn, and Moses Farrow, have accused her of being an abusive and domineering parent. Allen, who wed Previn in 1997, has repeatedly denied the accusations of abuse, asserting that Dylan was coerced by her mother, as per Daily Mail.
