'We can feel you in our hearts': Melanie Martin honors Aaron Carter on Christmas
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On Sunday, Melanie Martin posted videos from a holiday lunch with family and their 13-month-old son Prince, concentrating on an ornament with two angel wings in the shape of a heart with Aaron Carter's name in the center. "We can no longer see you with our eyes but we can feel you in our hearts forever. Love your mini-me and hunn," she wrote in an Instagram post along with a video.
Martin also added a little angel figurine to her meal table and filled her home with red décors, such as bows, holiday poinsettias, and gifts wrapped in red wrapping paper. "Merry Christmas to you prince, family, and Aaron in heaven," one wrote. Martin and Carter started dating in early 2020 and announced their engagement in June of that year. Their relationship was on and off in the months that followed the announcement of their engagement. Their actual relationship status at the time of the singer-turned-rapper Carter's death in November is unknown.
