Is Barron Trump the first boy of fashion? Melania's son is setting trends with his ‘artistic taste and style’
Melania Trump's former days as a fashion model are still a much talked about topic years after she quit the industry, but it looks like son Barron Trump's massive growth spurt might make him the next big name in fashion in the White House. Currently towering over his father, Donald Trump, the 13-year-old progeny of the US president with the First Lady is grabbing attention everywhere, with commentator Jadan Horyn saying he “wouldn’t be surprised” if Barron embarked on a career in the fashion industry.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, Horyn said: “He certainly has the familial connections to make that happen. I would say that Melania has an extraordinarily sharp taste. I would not be surprised since artistic taste and style tends to be inherited. It’s also environmentally conditioned that is the perfect combination of inherited taste in style and environmentally-conditioned understanding of what to wear and what not to wear. He can certainly dress to kill and I wouldn’t be surprised if he does.”
This comes after Barron seemingly followed mother Melania when he appeared in an all-black outfit back when they had joined Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago in January. Melania had worn a colored outfit over an all-black one back in 2017 when she was traveling to Texas to survey damage from Hurricane Harvey. In the January appearance, Barron decided to complete his look with an $80 pair of black New Balance sneakers, while Melania wore a $1,570 pink camel hair coat from Max Mara, finishing it up with burgundy leather boots and a Hermes Birkin bag.
Changing her attire mid-flight, Melania left Air Force One wearing a white short-sleeved dress, wherein she almost suffered a wardrobe malfunction. As the FLOTUS exited the plane in Palm Beach, Florida in January, she struggled to keep her white Carolina Herrera dress being blown up by the wind. At the time, she was accompanying the president, spending the weekend at their Mar-a-Lago resort, shortly ahead of the Senate impeachment trial that began last week.
