LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: American journalist Megyn Kelly recently claimed that Meghan Markle would be missing King Charles's coronation due to fears of being booed at the royal ceremony, Kelly went on to say that despite Markle’s absence, viewers watching the event on television would be “booing loudly.” She also claimed that Prince Harry would face a similar reaction from the public upon his arrival at the ceremony, Express UK noted.

“She couldn’t stand the thought of returning to England and having the cameras go on her and having everyone do what I will be doing at home, which is boo!” Kelly said while speaking to Sky News host Paul Murray. Kelly’s comments come after the Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Harry will be attending King Charles’ coronation in May 2023, but his wife will remain home in California with their children, daughter Lilibet, 1, and son Archie, whose fourth birthday falls on the same day as his grandfather’s coronation.

While Kelly said Markle would not be attending King Charles’ coronation because she “couldn't stomach the thought of being booed,” she also added Prince Harry would not be spared from a similar treatment. “Mark my words, Harry's getting booed. 100 percent,” Kelly said. “But he's at least the son, he kind of has to do it,” she added. The critic went on to say that Markle “should really worry about” the fact that everyone would be booing at her from home despite her absence at the coronation. “I've got news for her. We're booing loudly from our couches whether she can hear us or not,” Kelly argued.

Another rumor surrounding the ceremony stated that Prince Harry might be hoping to reconcile with his brother Prince William in the wake of his heated revelations about their relationship in 'Spare.'
