KINGSTOWN, MICHIGAN: 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 5 has officially been released on Paramount+, and it seems that Mike McLusky's (Jeremy Renner) challenges are far from being resolved.

In Episode 5, Evelyn Foley (Necar Zadegan), the Assistant District Attorney, informs Mike about the analysis of the heroin that led to several deaths in Kingstown. The analysis revealed traces of methamphetamine and opioids mixed into the heroin. Mike directly addresses Konstantin (Yorick van Wageningen) about the serious issue of contaminating Bunny Washington's (Tobi Bamtefa) drug supplies. 

However, the chaos erupts as Bunny and his armed men launch a sudden attack on the location. Bunny knows that Konstantin contaminated his drug supply with lethal additives. 

Later in Episode 5, Iris (Emma Laird) further reveals that the Aryan Brotherhood and Konstantin are supplying drugs together.

Can Konstantin and Merle Callahan take down Bunny Washington?

Iris's revelation that Konstantin and the Aryan Brotherhood are working together suggests that Merle Callahan (Richard Brake), the leader of the Aryan Brotherhood, has aligned with Konstantin to undermine Bunny, who controls a significant portion of the drug supply in Kingstown.

This pact likely aims to consolidate their power by eliminating a major competitor in the drug trade within Kingstown. Konstantin and Merle may also be devising plans against Mike as he has a soft spot for Bunny despite their adversarial positions. This suggests that Merle may have come to Kingstown with the intention of targeting Bunny and his drug operations to expand his own criminal enterprise.

His history in prison and the animosity towards Bunny, compounded by the Aryan Brotherhood's previous run-ins with the law, hint at a calculated move to assert dominance and seize control of Kingstown's lucrative drug trade.

Bunny received protection from Mike during Season 2, particularly when members of the Aryan Brotherhood faced significant police crackdowns. This protection could have fueled resentment and a desire for revenge among Aryan Brotherhood members, particularly Merle.

What sacrifices will Iris make to protect Mike from the deadly repercussions of this underworld feud?

In 'Mayor of Kingstown' Season 3 Episode 5, Iris visits Konstantin, but it's later revealed she went there to aid Mike. She asserts her commitment to staying and supporting Mike.

Mike underscores the risks Iris is taking, cautioning that if her association with him were uncovered, it could lead to her death at the hands of Konstantin. 

However, it appears that Iris is willing to do anything for Mike, even if it means risking her own life. Iris knows Konstantin from the past.
