'Mayans MC' Season 2 Episode 9 'Itzam-Ye' might see the club avenge their fallen brothers

Fans are expecting revenge in a fashion they have never seen before on the show.

Spoilers ahead for season 2 episode 8 'Kukulkan' of 'Mayans MC' 

In episode 8 'Kukulkan', the Mayans meet with SAMCRO to cement a deal with the Vatos Malditos regarding their gun business. The SAMCRO wishes to get out the guns business and thinks the Mayans should take control of the business. And so the three clubs meet at a lodge to flesh out a deal suitable for all parties involved considering the amount of money that is involved in this operation. 

After a very heated and tense meeting, it is decided that the Mayans will increase their offer to 5 % for the first two years but while it looks like Vatos Malditos has accepted the deal, it is far from the truth. Later that night, the club ambushed the Mayans attacking them with gunfire and Molotov cocktails. When attempting to save Taza (Raoul Max Trujillo), Riz (Antonio Jaramillo) takes two bullets to his chest. Outside the lodge, Coco (Richard Cabral) is hit by a Molotov cocktail that quickly sets his body alight. After EZ manages to extinguish it off Coco's body, he shouts out that he can't see anything. 

In the promo released by the network for next week's episode 'Itzam-Ye', shows the club in what looks like a hospital with Coco in a wheelchair with a bandaid on his eye surrounded by members of the club. 

Riz, who took two bullets to his chest in order to save Taza, is shown in a critical condition at the hospital. Taza is by his side and says, "I love you brother."

Fans are now expecting revenge in a fashion they have never seen before on the show. "On the other hand, the VM blinded Coco. To quote Happy, "They gotta die, like a lot". No way the sons can broker any kind of peace now, said one fan. And others are hoping that his sharpshooting skills are intact despite the injury.

Elsewhere, El Padrino (Emilio Rivera) meets EZ (JD Pardo) and warns him about lying to him. "You know what happens if I find out you lie to me?" El Padrino asks EZ. "I do, El Padrino," he responds with conviction. This is definitely in regards to Emily (Sarah Bolger) meeting Felipe (Edward James Olmos) in 'Kukulkan' to reveal some family secrets. 

'Mayans MC' airs on Tuesdays at 10 pm ET/PT.
