'Mayans MC' Season 2 Episode 3 'Camazotz' sees the Mayans avenge the death of their brother
Spoilers ahead for Season 2 Episode 3 of 'Mayans MC' titled 'Camazotz'
A lot of the focus in episode three 'Camazotz' dealt with the aftermath of the dirty cop killing a Mayan in Stockton. The episode started with the entire club plotting how they would avenge the murder of one of their brothers.
Bishop (Michael Irby) kickstarts the hunt for the cops with a "This has to be answered" before hitting the gavel. The entire incident was recorded on a phone — the one used by the cops to record the drug addict. The video also shows how and when the Mayan entered the scene and gets shot by the startled cop, dying instantly.
Bishop along with Coco (Richard Cabral), Taza (Raoul Trujillo) and the rest of the crew now make their way north to execute the plan. The idea was to lure the cops to a location by threatening them that the video will be leaked if they don't show up.
The meeting place is then finalized by the woman (named Hope), who is now also drugged up and awaits her meeting with the cops. The Mayans hide in this spot as well, waiting for the right time to venture out and avenge the death.
However, things do not go as planned. Only one of the two cops show up and the one who does show up threatens the woman, which causes the Mayans to emerge from their hiding place.
The Mayans then divulge their plan to them — that Hope was only a "pawn" for them to get to the cops. After capturing him, they threaten him to take them to the other cop who killed the Mayan. As it turns out, the cop is hiding in his mother's place and is home at the time the Mayans get there.
As they try to get him out of the house, they surprise him and a struggle ensues — where the mother ends up getting killed while they capture him. And that is how the Mayans take revenge.
'Mayans MC' airs on FX at 10 PM ET.
