The accused attacked another woman who tried to help

When the drummer, who lost his arm in a fatal car crash in 1984, was being attacked, a woman came out to help him, but Hartley allegedly attacked the unnamed woman and knocked her to the ground before repeatedly striking her. She tried to escape and was able to run back into the hotel, but she was followed by Hartley who allegedly grabbed the woman by her hair and dragged her outside, according to the report. The woman then fled the area.

Fort Lauderdale Police arrested Hartley near the Conrad hotel where he damaged numerous vehicles in the parking garage, according to the report. The injured drummer has demanded justice and, in a statement given to the police, he revealed that he would like the perpetrator to be prosecuted.

Abusing disabled adult with great harm

19-year-old Max Edward Hartley is an Ohio resident who was visiting the Fort Lauderdale area, where he allegedly attacked Allen, according to a report by the Rolling Stone. He was arrested and charged with two counts of battery, four counts of criminal mischief, and a count of abusing an elderly or disabled adult with great harm.

The report did not indicate a motive for the attacks. Hartley did not take any questions after he posted bail on Tuesday, March 14, at the Broward County Jail, according to a WSVN report.

Allen's is a legendary artist who despite his disabilities continued to be the drummer of Dep Leppard. His left arm was severed in a 1984 car accident. Doctors initially reattached his limb, but then had to amputate it because of an infection. Using his right arm and both feet, Allen has continued on as the band's drummer. So, the attack was quite a blow to his health, although the drummer has not yet talked about his condition after the incident.
