Bucky appears to be losing his mind because of the pressures of captivity and the trauma of war. However, Buck steps in to remind Bucky of the harsh realities they face and underscores the importance of patience in their struggle for freedom.

Buck seeks assistance from his fellow prisoners to extract tree stumps from the ground for additional firewood to combat the cold. However, Bucky, dissatisfied with the plan, becomes agitated, leading to a physical altercation with Buck.

The tension between Buck and Bucky has been building for some time, fueled by the stress and hardship of their captivity in Stalag Luft III.

As the episode progresses further, viewers are introduced to Tuskegee Airmen pilots, consisting of Lt Richard D. Macon (Josiah Cross), Lt Robert Daniels (Ncuti Gatwa), Col. Benjamin O. Davis (Jerry MacKinnon), Captain Erwin B. Lawrence (Tomisin Ajani), Lt Joseph Evans Gordon (Kwame Agyei) and Lt Shelby F. Westbrook (Jonathan Jules).

The Tuskegee Airmen embark on a daring mission to Toulon, France, to target the Nazi camps. However, they come under heavy fire from enemy anti-aircraft guns and fighter jets.

In a dramatic turn of events, the Tuskegee Airmen successfully eliminate several Nazi targets during their mission. However, their triumph is short-lived as all their fighter jets crash and fall into Nazi territory.

Macon suffers severe injuries, Joseph and Westbrook are dead, while Daniels and Alex survive the ordeal. As the surviving members assess their situation, they must contend with the harsh realities of being trapped behind enemy lines.

Subsequently, they are sent to Stalag Luft III as prisoners of war. However, some white prisoners refuse to associate with the Tuskegee Airmen.
