Martin Lawrence and Eddie Murphy's children, Jasmin Lawrence and Eric Murphy, are in a relationship and might get married soon. And ‘The Bad Boys’ star already seems to be making plans. He joked with Jimmy Kimmel that if his daughter ends up marrying Eddie’s son, he knows how he'll pay the wedding bill. "Imma try to get Eddie to pay for it," he said on the episode of 'Jimmy Kimmel Live' that aired on June 17.
The talk started with Jimmy asking about the possibility of Jasmin and Eric giving birth to “some kind of comedy super-baby.” To which, Martin, who has been connected with Murphy for quite a while due to their respective careers and has worked with him in the movie 'Boomerang', replied, “We kind of just stay out of their business and let them do their own thing and respect their thing."

Eric confessed his relationship with Jasmin in June 2021 by sharing a selfie of the two of them. “Head over heels in LOVE with YOU,” he captioned the post. Later his girlfriend, Jasmin, posted some more loved-up photos the next month, on July 11, wishing Eric a "happy birthday" with a sweet post of the pair on Instagram. One photo showed the couple smiling, and the other captured Eric giving Jasmin a kiss on the cheek. "Happy birthday, my love! I'm so incredibly blessed to know you, to love you, and to have you by my side," Jasmin wrote. "Cheers to many more blessings, laughs, and beautiful memories! I love you so much!!"
Eric is the oldest of Eddie's 10 children. His mother is Eddie's ex-girlfriend, Paulette McNeely. Eric is a writer and voice actor based in Los Angeles. Currently, he's creating an animated series, which he will write and do voiceover work on as per Avalon Entertainment, who represents him. On the other hand, Jasmin is the oldest of Martin's three daughters, all of which he had with his ex-wife, Patricia Southall. She graduated from Duke University in 2018 and is following in her father's footsteps in the acting industry.

Both the comedians have been buddies for a long period but they also share a professional relationship. Back in the ’90s, the actors starred in two movies together, ‘Boomerang’ and ‘Life’.
