Mark Wahlberg reveals his children are 'very happy' after he left Hollywood for 'new adventures'
LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Mark Wahlberg is one of the many famous people who left Hollywood for a different lifestyle and he claimed it has been good for his children. In a recent interview, the actor, 51, talked of relocating his family to Las Vegas. He said, "It's really giving the kids a chance to thrive."
Wahlberg elaborated further on the same and added, "It just has the best of both worlds. I know a lot of people, when they think Las Vegas, they think the Strip. But just about 15-20 minutes away, there's a whole lot of other amazing areas that are all about family and community."

'We're trying to create a studio'
With his wife, Rhea Durham, Wahlberg has four children. He claimed that since selling their Beverly Hills house in April of last year, their sons, Michael, 17, Brendan, 14, and daughters Ella, 19, and Grace, 13, are all doing well. He said, My daughter's an equestrian," as reported by Fox News Digital. "My son's a golfer. My oldest daughter, now she's off to college. My son's a junior," he added.
Wahlberg further added, "We're trying to create a studio. We're trying to build the shoe factory. We want to create lots of jobs here. I moved to Nevada where, after this gubernatorial election, hopefully it will go to legislation and get a bill passed so we can get a tax credit for the state — build a state-of-the-art studio here and make this Hollywood 2.0."
'Looking for new opportunities and new adventures'
The seasoned Hollywood actor continued by saying that while Vegas has the potential to emerge as a new center for entertainment, his top priority is his children. He said, "We're always looking for new opportunities and new adventures. "I hope to create a lot of opportunity here. And I moved to California originally to make movies. I've made three movies in the last 15 years in LA. So, as you know, it's been difficult." "The kids are really happy, and it's all about them," Wahlberg concluded. The leading man revealed that he persuaded others to follow him by demonstrating how many more houses they could purchase outside California.
