Mark Wahlberg follows Joe Rogan’s recovery method to test his sneakers’ capabilities: ‘It’s cold as s**t'
AUSTIN, TEXAS: In addition to being a famous Hollywood actor, Mark Wahlberg is well-liked in the fitness world.
Wahlberg made a purchase from the P448 shoe company last year. He previously demonstrated the capabilities of one of the shoes in a water test.
The fitness and bodybuilding fanatic put the sneakers through a number of evaluations. One of the tests was using the very unpleasant recuperation technique that many athletes advocate.
Football players, bodybuilders, and even other famous people like Joe Rogan support the technique.
Results shock Mark Wahlberg
The actor is quite active on social media despite his hectic schedule. He frequently publishes videos of his infamous 4 am workouts to encourage and inspire people to start exercising.
The 52-year-old, however, had a different message for his social media fans yesterday. In order to determine if the performance of his P448 sneakers would suffer if they became wet, Wahlberg subjected them to a variety of tests.

However, the actor went over and above by testing his athletic wear item in the water of various temperatures. Wahlberg said in the video that the footwear's sole was its standout feature.
The exercise enthusiast tried the shoes inside the pool to check whether they could keep their hold and inhale water. Wahlberg, though, thought the solid sole was perfect.
Wahlberg said, “Look at that grip. Wow!”. The next test, though, would be more difficult because Wahlberg plunged into the chilly plunge wearing shoes.
Although Joe Rogan promoted the recuperation technique in his podcast and other athletes have benefited from it, it is a painful process.
“It’s cold as s**t…” said Walhberg after spending a minute inside the plunge.

In episode #1870 of 'The Joe Rogan Experience' from 2022, the comedian turned UFC analyst extolled the virtues of icy plunges.
Rogan mentioned his exercise routine and nutrition, adding that a combination of sauna and cold water swimming had sped up his recovery.
The 56-year-old said he uses the mixture following a strenuous workout. After a strenuous workout, the sauna, in Rogan's opinion, helped keep his heart rate up.
He then entered the gold plunge tub to assist his body release endorphins and adrenaline.
The sauna and ice bath combination was Other than exercise, Rogan added, "the one thing that's shown to me to really have a benefit on the way I feel."
