Mark Consuelos and Kelly Ripa's daughter, 18, walked in on them having sex on Father's Day
Mark Consuelos definitely did not have a great start to Father's Day this year.
The 'Riverdale' actor and wife Kelly Ripa revealed that their 18-year-old daughter, Lola, walked in on them while they were having sex on Sunday morning, which coincidentally was Lola’s 18th birthday.
“We started [Lola’s] day off pretty bad yesterday,” Consuelos said on 'Live With Kelly and Ryan' while filling in for Ryan Seacrest on Monday, June 17. “I mean, it was the worst,” Ripa added.
The actress went on to explain that she wasn't even “in the mood” because she had a house full of people.
However, Ripa still “went through the motions” as a Father’s Day treat.
She revealed, “[Mark] was like, ‘But it’s Father’s Day,’ and I was like, ‘Alright, that doesn’t conjure up amorous thoughts, but OK.'”
Consuelos continued, “So she opens the door... and we’re like ‘Ah, close the door. Knock... What are you doing?'”
“She shuts the door and you hear, ‘You just ruined my birthday and my life and I used to see in color and now everything is gray,'” added Ripa.
The couple added that, later, when the whole family was having Father’s Day brunch together, Lola told them that they were “disgusting” and “had no chill.”
Lola told her parents, "You act like you’re 20, but you’re not,” to which Ripa responded, “With respect, we weren’t in the kitchen, we weren’t in the hallway or your room.”
While Consuelos said he doesn’t think their daughter saw anything, Ripa said, “I made eye contact with her.”
Luckily for the Hollywood couple, their daughter soon forgot about the entire ordeal, making sure to say goodnight at the end of the day, but this time she made sure to knock hard enough for her parents to hear. “It was like a fire department knock,” Ripa jokingly said.
“Oh, poor Lola,” Consuelos said with a laugh. Ripa and Consuelos also share two sons, 22-year-old Michael, and 16-year-old Joaquin.
However, the couple admitted that even the boys have walked in on their parents getting busy.
Quite recently, the former 'All My Children' star took to social media to share some stunning pictures of Lola just before she and her date headed to prom.
One picture showed Lola dressed in a green satin slip dress, as she pinned a corsage on her boyfriend Tarek Fahmy’s tuxedo. The second picture had the teenager smiling while posing alongside her mom.
