Mama June's carefree spending dubbed 'scam' as she gets mocked for planning Disney trip amid Anna Cardwell's death
MILLEDGEVILLE, GEORGIA: 'Mama June' star June Shannon confessed on her TikTok Live that she, along with her family, will be spending her Christmas in Disney. This made people on the internet wonder where she was getting all the money to spend on such an extravagant life.
A user took a screenshot of June's Live and claimed on the internet, "They are going to Disney for Christmas. Wish we all get free money like that. But I like making my own money."
Another mocked the family for celebrating amid the biggest daughter of the family Anna Cardwell's death. A user commented, "With their new slogan "it's what Anna would have wanted"."
Another speculated, "It will be interesting where the $$$ is coming from for the trip if it’s someone else’s likely carefree spending."
The user added, "This maybe where Pumpkin spends her $$$$$ from the sister’s closet if she goes. We know she don’t care what … costs unlike Justin."
A user accused the family of using the money collected for Anna's honoring. "Who the hell is donating to these people and buying their things ??? None of this is in Anna's honor, all of this is for free trips," said a fan.
Another dubbed the upcoming trip to be, "Scamming at its finest."
Who has custody of Anna Cardwell's daughter amid her death?
Anna's ex-husband Michael Cardwell has been taking care of his daughter Kylee Madison. However, he also wants to get the custody of stepdaughter Kaitlyn Elizabeth amid Anna's death.
Michael therefore sued June, asking for full custody of Kaitlyn. However, he failed to get custody and the Georgia court granted June the "temporary" custody of Kaitlyn.
Despite June being the guardian of the kids now, Michael has been taking care of Kaitlyn since she was an infant. He has been paying the school fees of an 11-year-old. Even years after divorce from Anna, Michael continued to fun Kaitlyn's tuition fee.

Anna lost her life to cancer on December 9. She left behind her daughters Kaitlyn and Kylee. Both has undoubtedly been affected by their mother's death.
As the family claims to still be in the grieving phase, June is considering therapy sessions for Anna's daughters. TMZ reports the eldest daughter Kaitlyn had no intention of speaking at her mother's funeral.
But, she later changed her mind and spoke about some memories shared by her mother Anna. There is still a lot to unpack for Kaitlyn as she moves ahead in life without the motherly figure.
