'The mother of reinvention needs an intervention'
On the other, one took a dig at her face and said, "Has Madonna been nominated for "Best New Face" at this year's Grammy Awards?" While a user wrote, "Some people get a facelift. Taking it to the next level, looks like Madonna had a face transplant. Note the camera never came in for a close-up at her Grammy appearance, maybe because it would’ve been too shocking." Another tweeted, "I’m all for cosmetic surgery but @Madonna should have left her face alone after her last lift. Her hair, makeup & eyebrows make her only look worse. The mother of reinvention needs an intervention. And yes, I’ll be paying 1,300 to see her at MSG this summer." As many continued to comment on her face, a few shared memes based on that.

Madonna's changing face over the years
As previously reported, Madonna's first facelift was in 1995 when she was 37. At the time, fans noticed a scar around her ear lobe, which was not there previously. Then a decade later, she allegedly received a second facelift before getting the third one in 2020. The Sun reported that her 2021 appearance at the MTV Video Music Awards started the rumor of her “going under the knife again. Some suggested she could have had a breast enlargement operation as well as butt implants as she modeled a huge cleavage as well as a very round and pert derrière in her black PVC bodysuit.” In 2012, she claimed, “I am certainly not against plastic surgery. However, I am absolutely against having to discuss it," reports SCMP.
