NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Madonna's daughter Lourdes Leon has landed in hot water. The eldest child of the Queen of Pop was denied entry at a Marc Jacobs fashion show in New York City after she arrived late to the event.
The 26-year-old model reportedly arrived for the fashion show in NYC at 6 PM on Thursday, February 2, just moments after the gates closed. The embarrassing incident took place two years after Leon was selected to represent the clothing company's spring 2021 campaign.

Leon was stopped by security as she attempted to enter the venue on Thursday, according to a viral video posted on TikTok by the user @mickmicknyc. "Drama outside the #marcjacobs fashion show as #lourdes wasn't allowed in after arriving exactly as the show started," said the caption. The voiceover narration at the beginning of the clip indicated that Leon arrived exactly at 6, right when the runway show was supposed to begin. The man she arrived with was seen talking with the security guards for more than a minute, but he kept getting told the event was "closed."

In the video, Leon was dressed in a busty denim outfit with a ripped-out matching coat. She wore a pair of towering white stiletto boots and accessorized with a denim handbag. When fans standing outside the show realized what was happening, they started to shout "let her in, she's the doll!" and tried informing the guards of her identity, with one asking the guards, "You don't know who she is?" However, it didn't appear to have worked. Leon eventually gave up and slunk out, one hand covering her face as she made her way back into the chilly New York night, as per Daily Mail.
'We don’t get any handouts in my family'
Leon, who often goes by Lola, once spoke to Interview magazine and claimed, "We don't get any handouts in my family." The showbiz legacy acknowledged, "Obviously, I grew up with extreme privilege. There’s no denying that. But I think my mom saw all these other kids of famous people, and she was like, 'My kids are not going to be like this'."
She added, "Also, I feel like if your parents pay for things, then it gives them leverage over you. My mom is such a control freak, and she has controlled me my whole life. I needed to be completely independent from her as soon as I graduated high school."
