Macaulay Culkin admits to watching 'Home Alone' movies to impress girlfriend: 'Whatever gets her motor running'
During an appearance on Jimmy Fallon's 'The Tonight Show,' Culkin admitted that he has indulged his girlfriends' - past and present – requests to watch 'Home Alone' movies.
Having shied away from the spotlight for a long period, ‘Home Alone’ star Macaulay Culkin is back in the public light, and how. With a new ‘comedy-lifestyle brand’ - inclusive of “advice, style tips, recipes, spiritual guidance, podcasts and more” - and debut in social media, he is ready to be admired and spoken about. He certainly has given us enough to talk about – all positive, to be clear.
He has a beautiful girlfriend Brenda Song – a child star in her own right – and his Instagram posts are hilarious, and when he does appear on talk shows, he reveals a lot more than an average celebrity. During his most recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s ‘The Tonight Show,’ 38-year-old admitted that he has indulged his girlfriends’ - past and present – requests to watch ‘Home Alone’ movies.
What with it being December and all, Culkin and his holiday-themed movies that rerun multiple times over during the season are high on demand. "I do get recognized more this time of year," he told Fallon. "You get like a new girlfriend and she's flipping through the channels and then there's Home Alone and she's like, 'Ehh, you wanna watch it?' ‘You wanna watch Home Alone with Macaulay Culkin, don’t ya?’and she’s like ‘yeeesss,’" he narrated the scenario to the late-night host.
After admitting that he has indulged these requests in the past, Culkin said, most of the time he can’t help but mutter his famous lines, like, “Keep the change, you filthy animal.” Culkin is not ashamed of it though, because the way he sees it, “Whatever gets her motor running, I guess.”
Culkin did not specify if current girlfriend Song is among the women whose “motor gets running” while watching ‘Home Alone’ with him. However, he has spoken about how this relationship is very serious since he at one point even talked of his future babies. While speaking at The Joe Rogan Experience podcast in August he said that he wanted to “make some babies” with Song.
“This one’s a good one, so I’m probably going to put some babies in her in a little bit,” he said, laughing. “I mean, we’ve definitely been practicing.” “I’m going to have some pretty babies. She’s Asian, so I’m gonna have tiny little Asian babies. It’s going to be adorable — a bunch of Sean Lennons running around the house, that’s what I’m looking for,” he added, make a reference of John Lennon and Yoko Ono.
He sure seems to be in a very happy place, and he has many reasons for it. As he explained during a podcast, “I have a pretty little family — a pretty girl, a pretty dog, a pretty cat, and all that stuff. We’re gonna move,” he said. “We’re doing the house thing and all that kind of stuff.”
