'You are terrible': Internet slams Lynne Spears for rolling eyes at Britney's post about 'distance'

'And don't you ever forget how they gave you distance when you needed love,' Britney Spears said in the now-deleted video post

Lynne Spears, Britney Spears' estranged mother, appears to be tired of all the negativity the pop star's Instagram posts seem to be throwing at the family. In a now-deleted motivational video that Britney, 40, reposted on Wednesday, June 15, the voiceover said, "And don't you ever forget how they gave you distance when you needed love."

The 'Toxic' singer captioned the video, "Just saying!!!!", to which the 67-year-old Lynne wrote in the comment section, "You have got to be kidding me!! 🙄", which keen fans were quick to spot it. Britney's mother, however, soon seemed to erase her comment.

Despite having deleted the comment, many Twitter users were quick to comment on Lynne's remark. One user said, "Lynne Spears really deleted her comment quick as f**k...after we all started speaking truth under it. @britneyspears we see what you mean. It's like dealing with my own family. I'm so sorry you have to deal with these rats. We see you girl! Luh ya B!"

Another individual wrote, "Lynne Spears has to be one of the worst - allowing your abusive husband 100% control of your daughter because ‘you rather her be mad at him’; then watching him rob & hurt her & doing nothing. Cheering on JL’s slander tour. Doing the bare minimum after years & charging the victim."

One user criticizing Lynne's behavior with her children wrote, "Lynne Spears you are a terrible person let alone mother. You have no boundaries and believe the way to making things right with your kids that YOU made wrong is manipulating them with fake niceties instead of atoning and repenting. Pathetic."

This additional individual criticized Lynne's post-comment and tweeted, "Incase you were wondering about the type of person Lynne Spears is.... here you go. She commented this on Britney's post about needing love but receiving distance. She's a s****ty mom. I hope she is held accountable for her involvement in the human trafficking of @britneyspears"

Earlier, Lynne was seen giving congratulations to Britney for her marriage to Sam Asghari on Friday which looks like a far cry from the eye-roll emoji. The 'Through the Storm' author remarked on the Grammy winner's slideshow of images from her wedding in Thousand Oaks, California, "You look radiant and so happy!"

"Your wedding is the 'Dream' wedding! And having it at your home makes it so sentimental and special!"  added Lynne "I am soooo happy for you! I love you!" Britney did not invite them to her wedding on June 9 after declaring her intention to sue her family for allowing her conservatorship to endure over 14 years.

Bryan Spears, the 'Crossroads' star's brother, was reportedly invited by several media agencies, but he was unable to go due to another family obligation, according to a source close to Bryan, as reported to Page Six.

Britney clarified the situation on Instagram on Tuesday. She added, "GO F–K YOURSELF Bryan," to a since-deleted post that stated, "You were never invited to my wedding." After a relationship of five years, the couple got engaged in September 2021 and got married in front of celebrity guests including Madonna and Paris Hilton on June 9, 2022.
