'Hollywood honors Ludacris with Walk of Fame'

Ludacris, visibly moved by Diesel's tribute, expressed his gratitude and called the honor "mind-blowing", acknowledging the interconnectedness of his success with the support and belief of those around him. "Getting a star is a statement. But be clear about this statement: The even bigger statement to me is that we are all interconnected," said Ludacris. "And I am a culmination of the people who showed up for me today believing in me and pushing me, to inspire me. I am a reflection of you. ... I'm nothing without you. Thank you," reported People

The star-studded event showcased unity and admiration among Ludacris' colleagues and friends in the entertainment industry. With more than 24 million albums sold worldwide and numerous hit singles such as 'Get Back' and 'Stand Up', Ludacris has made a significant impact on popular culture. His contributions to rap music videos have been influential in shaping how they "should look and feel."

'I'm loving it!'

“Ludacris has been a pop culture staple for many years,” said Ana Martinez, Producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame. “As both a rapper and actor, he has created some of our favorite music and film moments and we’re thrilled to welcome him to our historic landmark," she added, reported 11 Alive.

The Atlanta rapper, in an interview with Variety, shared his disbelief at receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, highlighting his focus on music earlier in his career. "Get the f--- out of here. Not because a star was not possible. I don't think that I could have seen that far down the line," he said.

"When it came to music, I had blinders on at that time because I knew that I had so much to prove. Now, I have much to prove in film and music — the two most sought-after dreams in the world, rock star and movie star. I'm loving it," Ludacris said. The star's versatility as an artist has been evident in his role as Tej Parker in the 'Fast and Furious' franchise, a fan-favorite character he has portrayed since '2 Fast 2 Furious'. His dedication to the series continues with his appearance in the upcoming film 'Fast X' set to release on May 20.

Ludacris' star, the 2,756th on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, symbolizes his remarkable career and enduring impact on the entertainment industry.
