Shake declares he's only attracted to Vanessa Lachey, 'Love is Blind' fans label him 'prick'

'Love is Blind' fans are up in arms against Shake after he claimed to be only attracted to Vanessa Lachey amongst all the women on the show

'Love is Blind' star Abhishek 'Shake' Chatterjee has been at the receiving end of a great deal of criticism ever since the Netflix show premiered. Even though the Netflix dating show was conceptualized around the idea of falling in love with a person for who they are rather than what they look like, the  33-year-old veterinarian/ DJ struggled to look past a person's weight and physical appearance. 

Even though he was initially drawn to Deepti Vempati and went on to propose to her, the attraction fizzled almost immediately as he came to the realization that he wasn't physically attracted to her. Through the course of the season, Shake can be overheard telling everybody, including his mother about how he was struggling with intimacy issues with Deepti. He even made a snide comment about how spending time with Deepti was like spending time with a family member. Thankfully, Deepti decided to walk away from him on the day of their wedding. While Deepti received a lot of love and support from fans, Shake was subject to a lot of criticism for his shallow approach to love and relationships. If you thought that Shake would be a little more careful with his words and try redeeming himself from the public's wrath during the reunion, then you couldn't be more wrong.

During the reunion of 'Love is Blind' Season 2, Shake boldly declared that while he thought all the women on the show were beautiful, he wasn't physically attracted to any of them aside from the show's hostess Vanessa Lachey. Shake continued by pointing out how everybody's an animal and that he felt that attraction only to Vanessa and concluded by saying he couldn't help it. Vanessa and her husband Nick Lachey were amused by Shake's statement. Vanessa intervened by calling out Shake for being on the wrong show and his inability to look past the physical attributes of a person.

After watching the way Vanessa took Shake down, fans were thrilled by it. A fan tweeted, "Oh my god Vanessa roasting Shake. I am here for it. Dude is making himself look worse then before. It hurts to watch #LoveIsBlind." Another fan wrote, "Vanessa confronting Shake with his bullsh*t was my super bowl. #LoveIsBlind #LOVEISBLINDreunion." "Watching Vanessa go off on Shake was by far the biggest highlight of this week. #LoveIsBlind," commented a fan. 

Fans were also appalled by Shake's brazen decision to express his attraction to Vanessa right under her husband Nick's nose. A fan shared, "Someone pls throw Shake in the bin! What kinda person is he? He couldn’t even apologize to Deeps. Makes me sick. “I’m attracted to Vanessa”?? Bro wtf? Her husband was sitting right there ffs #LoveIsBlind." "WTF wrong with Shake in this reunion?????? he literally just said the only person he’s attracted to on the show is Vanessa while her husband is sitting beside her. #LoveIsBlind #LoveIsBlindS2," echoed a fan. "Shakes saying he's attracted to Vanessa in front of her man What a prick! #LoveIsBlind," declared a fan. "Shake really just sat there and said he was attracted to Vanessa like Nick wasn't sitting there. He continues to be a disrespectful a**hole #LoveIsBlind," expressed a fan.
