‘Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood’: Brittany B calls herself the millennium version of Rosa Parks and fans are not pleased
LHHH star Brittany B managed to infuriate several fans when she compared herself to Rosa Parks and called herself the “2020 version of Rosa Parks”, and millennium Rosa Parks” on the recently aired episode of LHHH.
Brittany B along with fellow star Apple Watts was traveling to Las Vegas to attend Apple’s family reunion. Apple decided to hitch a ride with her friends, which included Micky Munday, Booby, Zell Swagg and Paris, on a party bus to Vegas. Unfortunately, for Apple, her friend Brittany ended up being a sore spot for Zell and Paris. The duo began picking on Brittany, until Brittany lashed out at them. Zell and Paris kept provoking Brittany, with Zell blatantly body-shaming her and Paris passing snide remarks until Brittany stood up for herself and shut them both down.
The producers had to quickly intervene to get a handle on the situation before it got out of hand. Brittany and Apple were made to get off the bus to get some ”fresh air”. Apple then suggested that they take a car to Vegas to avoid all the drama and continue their journey in peace. But our dear old Brittany refused to budge and insisted that they go back inside the party bus and assert their point of view. At this point, Brittany began evoking Parks and started comparing their situation with Parks’ when the civil rights champion was asked to get off the bus.

Brittany says that she won’t be getting off the bus, because Parks didn’t get off the bus. She then adds that she’s the “2020 version” of Rosa Parks and also “Millennium Rosa Parks”, as she makes her way back into the bus.
Fans were extremely triggered with Brittany’s comparison of herself to the great Parks, who championed the black rights. A fan wrote, “Brittany in this ill fitting, Wet Seal top comparing herself to Mother Rosa Parks is peak tackiness and low life behavior. I simply won’t allow it *summons Civil Rights era ancestors to haunt her* #lhhh #lhhhollywood”. Another fan tweeted, “Brittany....u’re MAD corny and wack AF! That “uber” shit is played out! And how fucking dare u disrespect Rosa Parks.....BITCH DON’T U EVAAAAA!!!! #lhhh #lhhhollywood”.
Fans were appalled by the reality star’s comparison and expressed the same. A fan shared, “Brittany please do not ever compare yourself to Rosa Parks ever again, with your bullshit. #lhhh”. Another fan wrote, “Tuh the nerve of Brittany to use Rosa Parks as a reference to this ratchetness #LHHH”.
Several fans were quick to point out to Brittany that Parks did have to get off the bus for being black. A fan pointed, “Ummm ROSA PARKS DID have to get off that bus. It was the LAW ! Really Brittany B! #LHHH”.
