It's an NL West matchup with table toppers Los Angeles Dodgers taking on the bottom-placed Arizona Diamondbacks. The latter have a 9-9 home record as they take on the Dodgers on their home turf. They come to the three-game series with back-to-back series losses against the San Francisco Giants and the Dodgers. Can they pull off an upset win?

Here's everything you need to know ahead of the game:

Time

The game is scheduled to start at 9.40 pm ET on Tuesday, September 8, 2020

Venue

Both sides will play at Chase Field, Phoenix, Arizona

Where to watch

SportsNet LA, SNLA Spanish, and Fox Sports-Arizona will televise the game live. The commentary can also be heard on the radio by tuning into AM 570 LA Sports, KTNQ 1020, Radio Korea 1540, KHOV 105.1 and 98.7 Arizona's Sports Station.

How to live stream

Fans can catch the game on MLB.TV as well as the My Stream App. MLB.TV is still the most preferred app as it comes with a slashed price of $59.99 keeping in mind the shortened season. A complete subscription provides viewers with access to the full regular season, the playoffs, and the World Series. Other options that viewers can look for is YouTube TV that gives access to ESPN, ESPN2, Fox, FS1, MLB Network and TBS at $64.99. Hulu and fuboTV have some similar options available.

Pre-game buzz

The Dodgers have been the team to beat this season. They are at the top of NL West standings and have a 15-5 Away record. The last time these two sides met, the D-Backs were handed a 3-0 loss and the Dodgers will be aware of what's coming when they take the field on Tuesday. Walker Buehler will be the starting pitcher for the Dodgers and Arizona's feeble offense will have to be ready against a guy with a 3.60 ERA and a 0.97 WHIP.

Luke Weaver might not have a great record against LA. However, his last outing against them allowed him two earned runs in 5.1 innings according to Winners and Whinerss and the bigger challenge will be to contain the big hitters in the Dodgers' Camp.

Who will win

The Dodgers are clear favorites heading into this one. After their 1-1 tie against the Colorado Rockies, they will be hoping to get some wins on the board.
