It looks like Mark Tuan is ready to drop one more solo single before GOT7 has a comeback. After the K-pop group left their old label JYPE in 2021, he became the first member to drop a solo track by gifting fans ‘One in a Million’ on Valentine’s Day. And since then, his solo releases have been keeping Ahgases (GOT7’s fandom) on their toes. His next track turned out to be his very first OST (original soundtrack) that too for Marvel’s ‘Shang Chi’. ‘Last Breath’ was announced in the most novel way by deleting his social media followed by his latest single ‘My Life’.

Mark had previously teased fans by saying that he had made enough songs to have a concert and a tour which had everyone excited. The GOT7 star had also told Paper Magazine that he would be dropping his debut solo album soon which would reflect the last 10 years of his life from his trainee days to the present. But it seems that we will be getting one more pre-release single depending on the fans’ answers. On March 16, Mark Tuan shared that his next song would either be ‘Save Me’ or ‘Lonely’.

Mark asks fans to choose his next song

Mark Tuan turned heads by attending YSL’s show at Paris Fashion Week F/W 2022 and then departing to South Korea, where six of the GOT7 members are residing currently. And now, on March 16, he tweeted, “How y'all doing? I'm in a dilemma... i don't know what my next single should be 🤔 ‘save me’ or ‘lonely’ - you guys tell me.” Fans have ended up trending both the title names as they cannot decide.

'Save me I'm lonely?'

There were some clever fans who reasoned, “In terms of meaning, following Last Breath and My Life, ‘save me’ feels the literary and narrative continuity. And since the titles of the first two songs were two words, I wanted ‘save me’ to have that continuity. But... the lyrics of the third single also make my heart tremble because it seems so heartbreaking..” But many couldn’t decide as they made tweets like, “Impossible to decide…it’s like asking a parent to choose a favorite child,” and “Save me I’m lonely???”

With his last two singles being moody and angsty, one fan wanted to know the genres to which someone responded, “Probably non of them 😖 he wants us depressed.” Another joked that since ‘Save Me’ was winning the fan polls, Mark would pick ‘Lonely’, “We're all choosing save me 😂😂 so the song gonna be lonely.”
