Logan Paul reacts to Drake's $850K bet on his much-awaited fight against Dillon Danis
CLEVELAND, OHIO: Logan Paul seems unfazed by rapper Drake cashing in a substantial bet on him, despite the notorious 'Drake Curse' wreaking havoc on the sports world lately.
The Canadian rapper often places significant bets on popular sporting events but hasn't had much success with his gambling endeavors.
In his most recent wager, he bet on Nate Diaz in his bout against Jake Paul in August 2023 and wound up on the losing side.
What is the 'Drake Curse'?
The 'Drake Curse' is a superstition or belief in a pattern where celebrities or sports teams that associate with the Canadian rapper and musician Drake often experience bad luck or poor performance shortly after their interaction with him.
This phenomenon gained attention because it seemed that various sports teams and athletes suffered defeats or setbacks after Drake showed support for them or appeared in photos with them.
While it's mostly seen as a humorous and superstitious concept, it has become a well-known meme in the world of sports and entertainment.
The Grammy Award winner has been charged with betting on sportsmen and athletic teams, allegedly jinxing them.
