Lizzo 'shakes her tailfeather' in tiny tie-dye two-piece on hotel balcony ahead of St Louis show
ST LOUIS, MISSOURI: Lizzo showed off her great dancing talents while hanging out at her hotel ahead of her tour stop in St Louis, Missouri on April 25. The Grammy Award winner, 34, threw her arms about and stamped her feet to the tune of the 2003 single 'Shake Ya Tailfeather', wearing a tiny blue tie-dye bikini.
Her typically flowing dark hair was pulled up in a bubblegum pink headscarf. She also wore black sunglasses to complete the morning ensemble. Lizzo shot her amusing dance performance on her hotel balcony, which overlooked the city's iconic Gateway Arch.

Lizzo in support of drag artists
To get her fans excited for the big concert, the ‘Juice’ hitmaker captioned the photo, 'St Louis tonight!' Lizzo is presently in North America on the second leg of The Special 2our. Her fourth studio album, 'Special', was released last summer, and the tour is in support of it. On Friday, April 21, the 17-city tour began at Knoxville's Thompson-Boling Arena.
During the concert, Lizzo chose to speak out against Tennessee Senate Bill 3, often known as the 'drag ban.' It would make it a crime for 'adult cabaret performance' to take place on public property or in places where minors may see it.
Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed it into law in March, but a federal court in the state intervened on Friday, April 21 to temporarily halt its execution. Lizzo pulled out a crew of queens, many of whom had participated on RuPaul's Drag Race, to join her on stage in a show of support with drag performers.
She also gave an emotional statement explaining why she didn't cancel her Tennessee event in the aftermath of the anti-drag outcry. "In light of recent and tragic events and current events, I was told by people on the internet, 'Cancel your shows in Tennessee,' 'Don't go to Tennessee,'' she began. "Their reason was valid, but why would I not come to the people who need to hear this message the most? The people who need to feel this release the most?"
‘Why would I not build a safe environment in Tennessee’
At her gigs, the "Good As Hell" singer has also stated her goal to provide a 'safe environment' for LGBTQIA+ persons and other minority groups. "Why would I not build a safe environment in Tennessee where we can appreciate drag performers, our diversity, and obese Black women?"
She continued, "What people in Tennessee are doing is giving hope, so thank you so much for standing up for your rights, protecting each other and holding the people accountable who should be protecting us. I hope that I can help you in any way because you have helped me so, so much, you don't even understand," she told the 21,678-seat arena.
Lizzo also posted several reels and snaps from her St Louis performance on her Instagram profile. Lizzo's The Special 2tour kicked up with a European leg from February 17 to March 16. Her fourth studio album, 'Special', was released on July 15, 2022. Lizzo also premiered the album's lead track, "About Damn Time", on April 14, 2022, to get fans excited for her new era.
