'Little Women: Atlanta' star Ashley 'Minnie' Ross, who succumbed to injuries from a car accident on April 27, was herself the reason behind the mishap, said police. The police report stated that the reality television star was all over the road near Old Navy Highway in Atlanta before she hit another driver in the opposite lane, and suffered fatal injuries.

The official documents based on eyewitness testimony and the responding officer's observation also noted that while traveling southbound on one side of the highway, Minnie lost control of her vehicle which led her to pull the steering wheel right. The 34-year-old then went off-road briefly and as she tried to swing back to the left, not in control, it caused a collision with another vehicle in the opposite lane.

Neither she nor the other drivers were evicted, according to the documents seen by TMZ.

An earlier report of the Atlanta Journal Constitution has also quoted an official of the South Fulton police.

Police spokesman Lt. Derrick Rogers had said that Minnie’s Nissan Sentra hit a curb along Old National Highway near the intersection of Lantern Lane. She lost control of the car and crossed into the northbound lanes while hitting a Ford Focus head-on.

Minnie was soon taken to Grady Memorial Hospital with serious injuries after the accident. Police also noted that she was unresponsive on the scene, while the Ford driver sustained only minor injuries. The other driver was also taken to the hospital. Minnie succumbed to her injuries on April 27, around 10.30 pm.

The police report has also stated that no drug or alcohol tests were administered to either driver, but it did indicate that Minnie was determined to be at fault in the accident. As per reports, no autopsy has been done on Minnie’s body and the Fulton County Medical Center will most likely list that she died due to the blunt force trauma from the crash.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, May 5, Minnie’s family announced that they are hosting an event at Olivet Baptist Church in Chattanooga, Tennessee, at 6 pm ET on Friday, May 8, in memory of her. Face masks will be compulsory for all those who want to attend and they will also have to follow social distancing measures given the Covid-19 pandemic.

It has been said that the memorial event will also be live-streamed on msminniemedia.com and on her Instagram page, Entertainment Tonight reported.

This comes days after Minnie’s publicist Liz Dixson announced her death on her Instagram account. “It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka 'Ms Minnie' of Little Women: Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34. The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time,” the post read.

Her ‘Little Women: Atlanta’ co-star Amanda Salinas also posted an emotional tribute with a picture of herself with Minnie. She wrote: “As I’m writing this I’m in tears I can’t believe it my Minnie !!!! Why did they take you away from us !!!! WHY!!!!! “I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever 💔 I promise to keep you alive in my memories and be there for your mama and aunt.
