'Little Women: Atlanta' star Ashley 'Minnie' Ross dead at 34 after hit-and-run car accident

‘Little Women: Atlanta’ fans woke up to the shocking news of their favorite reality star Ashley 'Minnie’ Ross’s passing. The 34-year-old star’s tragic passing was announced on her Instagram by her publicist on 27th April. According to the Instagram post, Minnie succumbed to injuries from a hit-and-run car accident. The post says, “It is with profound sadness that we confirm on behalf of the family of Ashley Ross aka 'Ms Minnie' of Little Women: Atlanta has succumbed to injuries from a tragic hit and run car accident today at the age of 34.

The family respectfully asks for their privacy as they grieve during this very difficult time.”

According to Minnie’s publicist, Liz Dixson, the reality star met with an accident when her car collided with another vehicle near Old Navy Highway in Atlanta on Sunday night, April 26. She was immediately rushed to Grady Memorial Hospital. Minnie succumbed to he injuries on April 27 night at around 10:30 pm.

Minnie’s ‘Little Women: Atlanta’ co-star Amanda Salinas shared a heartfelt tribute to her dear friend and co-star. Salinas shared, “As I’m writing this I’m in tears I can’t believe it my Minnie !!!! Why did they take you away from us !!!! WHY!!!!! It always seems like we have all the time in the world, only to realize how fleeting it really is.” She added, “I wish we had more time to do and say the things we saved for later which along with you is gone forever 💔 I promise to keep you alive in my memories and be there for your mama and aunt. You were more than our best friend you were our big sister and still is !! I still can’t believe this man why man why!!!! , I love you so much !!!! My heart is broken 😭💔 Rest In Peace my love.”  Her post was accompanied by a picture of her with Minnie.
 
Fans too began posting their tributes to the reality star on Twitter. A fan tweeted, “I can't believe my girl ms.minnie from little women's passed away lord her momma and them twins was so close...” Another fan shared, “I hope Minnie was able to find some happiness within herself. I hope she was able to reach at least one of her goals. I hope she was able to start living for herself before her life was cut short. RIP to Ashley 🙏🏾.” “Ms Minnie from Little Women Atlanta died and idk why it kinda affected me that way. I don’t know this woman, didn’t watch the show apart from little clips on IG, but damn yo. It’s so sad,” expressed another fan.

Minnie is survived by her mother, Tammy Jackson, her aunt Veronica Deloney, her uncle John Deloney and her grandmother Rose Deloney.
