Lionel shared some interesting details about his life when he wrote this song 40 years ago in a joint interview with fellow 'American Idol' judges Katy Perry and Luke Bryan on Tuesday's episode of 'The View'.
Oh when we say life, we mean "sex life". The celebrity judge, who is 73, revealed he’s lucky if he can last 15 minutes in bed. Lionel Richie gives insight into his sex life
On the 40th anniversary of his popular song, Lionel decided to reveal some intimate details about himself. Sharing the backstory of 'All Night Long', the legendary icon confessed that at the time the song was written, he had amazing stamina in bed as "it was truly all night long.” Well, now we know where the title comes from!
Lionel then added that now his all night has come down to a "fierce 15 minutes." The celebrity also went on to share that as long as he doesn't have to do 'it' 7 nights a week and 4 times a night, he's all good. He seems to be doing fine in this department as he has managed to hold on to his girlfriend Lisa for 8-9 years now and they are still going strong. Lionel had previously told People that Lisa is extremely smart and he loves that she helps him deal with his "crazy world".

On the other hand, Katy was having fun and even had a witty conversation with Lionel as she said, "Fifteen minutes?
