Liam Hemsworth shows off his ripped muscles after finalizing divorce with Miley Cyrus: 'Locked and loaded'
Liam Hemsworth seems to be finally moving on from his ex Miley Cyrus after the pair finalized their divorce earlier this week, with the 29-year-old actor showing off his toned body as he readied himself for a fun outing on Christmas.
The 'Hunger Games' star took to Instagram on December 25 to share a picture of him flexing his biceps in a post which he cheekily captioned, "Locked and loaded. Bring on the festivities!"
In the snap, he was also holding a beer in his hand and had a cooler wrapped around his shoulders. He was also sporting a cut off t-shirt and a casual western and seemed ready to hit the beach.
Liam and Miley had tied the knot in a small ceremony in Tennessee last December following 10 years of on and off dating, before deciding to end their marriage less than eight months later.
A rep for the 'Wrecking Ball' singer confirmed their split in a statement released in August this year which said the pair were "ever-evolving" and "changing" and that they had decided their separation was "what’s best while they both focus on themselves and careers".
"They still remain dedicated parents to all of their animals they share while lovingly taking this time apart. Please respect their process and privacy," the statement added.
They officially filed for divorce 10 days after that announcement and hashed out the details for their separation on Christmas Eve this week on what otherwise would have been one day after their first wedding anniversary.
In the months after their split, Miley appeared to briefly date 'Hills: New Beginnings' star Kaitlynn Carter before their whirlwind romance fizzled out and the former started seeing Cody Simpson, with whom she spent the holidays.
Liam, on the other hand, was rumored to be dating Australian actress Maddison Brown after they were spotted making out in New York City. Two months later, that seems to have been only a temporary rebound, with the actor now said to be with model Gabriella Brooks.
