'Let it take its course': Imprisoned 'Tiger King' star Joe Exotic refuses treatment for prostate cancer
BAHAMA, NORTH CAROLINA: Imprisoned 'Tiger King' star Joe Exotic has allegedly refused to be treated for his prostate cancer that doctors believe has spread to his bladder. Born as Joseph Maldonado revealed recently that he has been losing a lot of blood in his urine and has bled a lot during his cancer treatments, according to a letter obtained by TMZ.
The 59-year-old reality star is currently behind bars for scores of offenses including animal abuse charges and a murder-for-hire plot against fellow 'Tiger King' star Carole Baskin. Exotic's urology specialist thinks his cancer has spread to his bladder and wants him to undergo confirmation tests. However, the former zookeeper has refused to be treated saying, he wants the illness to "take its course".

What did Joe Exotic write in his letter?
The letter, reportedly written by the reality star reads, "I want to stay here and just let it take its course. "The world has to know just how corrupt our justice system is … If I have to be the one to die innocent in here fighting for the truth maybe people around the world will finally speak up for the truth for once," reported the source. Furthermore, Exotic added he does not wish his family to receive any of his wealth and has willingly named it under his former partner and current fiance, Seth posey.
"I'm so tired of everything that's going on there with people trying to exploit me and trying to write off my name and everything else," Exotic wrote in the letter. "So I have my attorney Autumn Blackledge, she is the executor of the will, and I don't want any of my will or Jeff Lowe, nobody to be able to get anything from me. Trademarks, copyrights, I just gave everything to my fiancé, Seth Posey."
'Sending up prayers!'
Nevertheless, Internet users had mixed reactions to the cancer update. One user wrote on Twitter, "Let this man free." Another added, "It is treatable Joe, if you want to live." A third user claimed, "One of the most treatable forms of cancer when caught Free Joe." A fourth questioned, "hasnt he had like 10 different kinds of cancer lol." "Sending up prayers," a wellwisher tweeted. "I'll be a shame if it turns out that Joe Exotic was done dirty & did not kill anyone," a user commented. "So I guess he isn’t going to be our next president after all," a user mocked. "Good. Karma! Hope it’s a long painful death. It still won’t be as bad as what he put those animals thru. Good riddance!" read a tweet. "Fitting end for him to spend the rest of his days in a cage," a user tweeted.
