She broke the news to The Hollywood Reporter that the actor died of a heart attack which he suffered on May 9. Hopkins has left a legacy behind for his fans to enjoy with over 100 movies to his name and over 50 years in the film industry. He even appeared in 2020's 'Hillbilly Elegy' alongside Amy Adams and Glenn Close.

In a conversation with Shock Cinema in 2012, he shared, "I got into the play [The Teahouse of the August Moon] and Norma said, ‘If you do it, I’m going to take Jane and go home,’” he said. “So I did it and, sure enough, she took Jane and left.” It is also rumored that after receiving a scholarship to study acting in and stage production at the Pioneer Playhouse in Kentucky, Bo even dated a girl who held the Miss Mississippi title.
