Happy Birthday, Lady Gaga! On March 28, 1986, Stefani Joanna Angelina Germanotta was born at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. The singer and actress appeared in 'A Star Is Born' in 2018 and 'House of Gucci' in 2021. However, she began her career as a performer during her teens, appearing in plays and open mic nights.

A rare early acceptance student, the singer was admitted to NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Despite this, she dropped out of college at the age of 19. She felt she could teach herself art better than NYU did, as per Elle. As the iconic singer turns 37, let's take a look at her marvelous journey.

In honor of her birthday, fans are looking back on all of her most iconic songs from the past. Take a look:

'Bad Romance'

The song 'Bad Romance' has over 1.5 billion views on YouTube, making it Lady Gaga's most popular track.

'Always Remember Us This Way'

In 'A Star Is Born', Ally's theme song is also Gaga's best ballad. It was written and recorded quickly, like most of her best songs.

'The Edge of Glory'

The third single from 'Born This Way' kept things refreshingly simple. The upbeat central message of living in the moment, inspired by her grandfather's death, is supported by a straightforward pop structure that never oversimplifies the nearly flawless chorus.
