Lizzo SPARKS engagement rumors with Myke Wright after being spotted with epic ring
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lizzo recently left her fans all wondering the same thing when she stepped out on Saturday night wearing what appeared to be a sparkling new engagement ring on her finger. After nearly a year of dating, the rapper has reportedly gotten engaged to her beau Myke Wright.
According to Media Take Out, two people close to Lizzo confirmed that the comedian proposed and she said yes. While the 'Juice' rapper is said to be overjoyed about her engagement, her friend claims that "[despite her social media posts], Lizzo is very private, so I don't think she plans to ever announce it... maybe after the wedding."

Lizzo first sparked dating rumors in 2021 after being seen by an unknown man. She didn't confirm her relationship status until April 18 of this year. During an appearance on Andy Cohen's radio show, 'Radio Andy'. The host inquired, "you were photographed in LA in February at Craig's with a mystery man. Is your relationship still going strong?" In response, she stated, "Sure, whatever. Yeah."
Lizzo made her red carpet debut as a couple with Myke in June, after teasing fans about him on social media. They met at an FYC event for her Amazon Prime Video series 'Watch Out for the Big Grrrls.'
Lizzo also shared a photo of her pink gloved hand resting on Myke's, revealing a glittering piece of bling on her ring finger. The ring sparked engagement rumors, with one fan commenting on the post, "Umm is Lizzo engaged!?" A second person enquired, "DID @lizzo GET ENGAGED?!?" While another asked, "Did Lizzo get engaged omggg!?"
If Lizzo is truly engaged to Myke, this appears to contradict her recent statement about having no expectations in a relationship. "I haven't been with anyone for ten years. I can't imagine being with someone for ten years, yo," she said on 'The Breakfast Club'. She continued, "A traditional relationship scares me, but love is eternal. I can love someone indefinitely".
When Charlamagne Tha God asked her what a non-traditional relationship looks like to her, she replied, "Monogamy, I believe, is a little claustrophobic for me. Because of the rules, I believe. A non-monogamy love relationship, in my opinion, has no rules."
"I think people who do poly and all that stuff still have rules....I don't want any rules," the 34-year-old added. "But that doesn't mean I'm out here f*****g and s*****g and ducking, and it certainly doesn't mean he is. It simply means that there are no expectations, allowing the love to be the main event."
Lizzo hinted that her boyfriend Myke is aware of her situation. "Even the man I'm with knew me before all of this happened. We had been friends." She spoke highly of the stand-up comedian/actor.
