Gwendlyn Brown accuses dad Kody of overspending after 'Sister Wives' star fails to build family homes
FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA: 'Sister Wives' star Kody Brown has a tough relationship with his children. Meanwhile, the reality star's daughter, whom Kody shares with his ex-wife Christine Brown, Gwendlyn Brown recently spilled beans on some of her father's habits.
Gwendlyn answered a few fans' questions on her YouTube channel. During the Q&A session, the TLC star claimed her father, Kody, and his wife, Robyn Brown, are big spenders who purchase items "not within their means." Gwendlyn Brown says Kody has 'terrible habit' of overspending
Kody and Christine's daughter, Gwendlyn, recently answered fans' questions on her YouTube channel. While answering, the reality star admitted that her father and Robyn are not responsible for their money. Gwendlyn claimed in the video that Kody and his wife, Robyn are big spenders who purchase items "not within their means." Gwendlyn said, "I think that my dad and Robyn have a terrible habit of spending very crazy and like not within their means at all." Gwendlyn also slammed Kody for overspending and not splitting his earnings with his ex-wives. Gwendlyn said, "But also, Janelle and Meri are like kind of similar to my mom where they're not gonna be like salty or petty and try to like take money from him," adding, "even though they totally deserve it because he's been spending all of their money on whatever." The reality star further noted that, "So, probably not, but they'll probably be a lot better off now [that] they're no longer financially tied to him because you still make a lot of money separately."
Kody Brown fails to build homes for his wives
Gwendlyn's claims came after Kody failed to build their family homes. The reality star purchased four parcels of land called Coyote Pass in Flagstaff, Arizona, for $820,000 in 2018. Kody had planned to split it into five parts, so that he and his now three ex-wives, Meri, Janelle, Christine, and his last standing wife, Robyn, could build homes and live nearby. However, nearly five years after the purchase, there's no sign of construction on the land. Notably, there were also no building permits that have been requested for the land, as reported by The US Sun. Previously, the patriarch revealed that he has to pay off the Coyote Pass property before Kody can begin to build. The latest reports suggest that Kody and his wives have until June 2023 or their payment will be considered late or delinquent.
Where do Robyn and Kody Brown live now?
Kody and Robyn currently live in their dream house in Flagstaff. The couple purchased their Flagstaff home in August 2019 for $890K. Notably, the property is located next to Coyote Pass. Kody and Robyn's dream house feature a four-car garage, a massive kitchen, an underfloor heating system, two master suites, a wine fridge, and an expansive deck. For the unversed, Kody considered himself to be "spiritually married" to his four wives through the years. But he has only been legally married to Robyn. Kody and Robyn exchanged vows in May 2010 and share three kids together.
