What is Kody Brown's net worth? Here's why 'Sister Wives' star's financial problems are not as bad as he claims
Season 15 of TLC's controversial yet popular show 'Sister Wives' is all set to premiere on Sunday, February 14. The season will pick up from the drama that kept the audience in the dark in the Season 14 finale episode, where two of the Brown wives were missing. Reportedly, a lot more had happened between the family patriarch Kody Brown and his four wives — Meri, Robyn, Janelle and Christine Brown, during the pandemic.
The four women are staying separately from one another and Kody has been traveling frequently to spend time with everyone. More drama will unfold as the season proceeds.

What are Kody Brown and his wives' net worths?
Kody Brown, the controversial polygamist and leading star of the TLC reality show has had been reporting financial issues in the past seasons of the show. However, reports reveal that he might not be as financially desperate as he claims to be.
Brown does not have any other job outside the reality show and claims to support his enormous family from that income. He has been starring in the show since 2010. He is only legally married to Robyn Brown at present while the other three relationships are apparently "spiritual unions".
A 2020 report by Soapdirt estimated Kody Brown's net worth at a staggering $800,000. His first wife, Meri Brown has a net worth of $400,000. Both his second and third wives, Janelle and Christine Brown, have individual net worths over $400,000. The richest among Kody's four wives is Robyn Brown, his last wife, with nearly $600,000 to her name.
Are his financial struggles real?
It has been revealed that each of the 'Sister Wives' adults initially received a salary of $180,000 each. However, in Season 11, Kody had a fallout with TLC over the salary that led to the cancellation of the show.
Kody then agreed to a salary of $180,000 for all the five adults combined, which convinced TLC to go on with the show, which is currently at its 15th season.
Reports show that the budget of 'Sister Wives' ranges anywhere between $250,000 to $400,000 each episode, and each of the cast members receive 10% of the budget. Thus, Kody and each of his wives earn between $25,000 to $40,000 per episode. Given the number of episodes aired per season, it can be assumed that the Brown family is not in that much of an economic struggle as they claim to be.
