'This s**t aint right': Kodak Black slams Tory Lanez guilty verdict in Megan Thee Stallion shooting case
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Kodak Black is not happy with the verdict in the Tory Lanez trial as he feels there wasn't enough evidence to convict him. On December 24, the 25-year-old rapper appeared on Instagram Live to comment on Tory being found guilty on all charges related to the July 2020 shooting of Megan Thee Stallion.
The Florida native began, "This s**t aint right, homie. For real, bro." He cotinued, "And Tory Lanez a good n***a, bro... This s**t f*****g with my Christmas Eve. Everybody s**t ain't for me to speak on. But it's like n****s aint finna talk about that. N****s finna act like this s**t ain't never happen. I don't know. I wasn't in the courtroom. But at the same time, if it is some f****d up s**t going on, n****s ain't gonna wanna say nothing because of the politics bulls**t. And all of this Jay-Z s**t. But I don't like that s**t nan bit."

A 12-member jury found Tory Lanez guilty of one count in connection with the December 23 shooting of Megan, nearly two weeks after the incident: assault with a semiautomatic firearm, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle and grossly negligent discharge of a firearm with intent to cause bodily injury. Yak was not present for any of the testimony or evidence at this time. If convicted on Jan. 27, 2023, Tory could face up to 22 years in prison, reports XXL Mag.
Kodak during his Instagram live conversation also said, "Now, I'm a God-fearing n***a," He continued. "If my brudda actually did do that s**t, God gon' see it through where he get the justifiable punishment he feel like he deserve for that," as cited by XXL MAG.
Yak continued by stating that he detests guys abusing women but questioned Megan's account. "They done caught this female in a few lies and s**t," he went on. "And then, how you find a n***a guilty for shooting the b***h, when ain't no evident behind it? Y'all talking ’bout, b***h had gun residue and another person. And ain't nobody came through and say, 'Yea, he did that s**t.' That s**t don't sit well with me."
Meanwhile, Twitter reacts to Black's claims with one writing,"not listening to a man that went to jail twice… for r4pe."
