ALPHARETTA, GEORGIA: The 44-year-old ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ alum Kim Zolciak is facing foreclosure over her $2.6 million mansion. This got implemented after she and her ex-NFL star husband Kroy Biermann, 37, “failed to pay back” a $300K loan, states legal documents.
According to The Sun, a Notice of Sale Under Power confirmed that the couple, who share six children including Kim’s two daughters from a previous relationship, had their five-bedroom, 6.5-bathroom home foreclosed on and is being put up for sale. As per the report, the property was foreclosed upon "because of, among other possible events of default, failure to pay the indebtedness." On the other hand, In Touch states that the move took place following the cancellation of the family’s long-running series, ‘Don't Be Tardy’, in May 2021 due to low ratings and other factors. Kim and Kroy failed to pay back a loan of $300K and now the 6,907-square-foot property is set to be auctioned off “on the first Tuesday in November 2022” and “will be sold at public outcry to the highest bidder for cash before the courthouse door of Fulton County, Georgia,” according to the documents stated by The Sun. As per the legal documents, Kim and Kroy purchased the home in December 2013. And the initial Notice of Sale Under Power was published on October 6.
