Kim Kardashian repeats Saweetie's 2020 'Mystique' look this Halloween, fans say 'it’s Ms Icy Girl for me'

As we know, this year Halloween came a little early and there was a plethora of Halloween celebrity looks that were served over the weekend. While some opted for retro, others went for the iconic famous looks from pop culture. Skims owner and reality TV star, Kim Kardashian and 'Icy Girl' singer, Saweetie got compared as the two shared a common look which is Mystique from Marvel's 'X-Men' franchise.

Is this a fashion faux pas or just a genuine coincidence? We don't know but the fans started a poll on social media as soon as the celebrities dropped their looks. While some say Kim Kardashian "stole it" because of the details of her costume, most are favoring Saweetie because of how well she pulled off the costume or in fans' words, how she "ate it up." However, Kim Kardashian seems unbothered by repeating Saweetie's 2020 costume as she has not acknowledged it yet. It is not every day you see celebrity twinning accidentally thus fans took it as their solemn duty to choose who served the look better.

Mystique is an iconic member of a subspecies of humanity known as mutants who are born with superhuman abilities, she is a shapeshifter who can mimic the appearance and voice of any person with exquisite precision; her natural appearance includes blue skin, red hair, and yellow eyes. That is not all, she is typically portrayed as a foe of the 'X-Men'. Mystique has been both a supervillain and an antiheroine, founding her own Brotherhood of Mutants and assassinating several important people involved in mutant affairs; she has been stated to be over 100 years old. Since her debut, Mystique has been labeled as one of Marvel's most notable and powerful female antiheroes.

Saweetie had opted for the Mystique look back in 2020, however, two years later, none other than the famous Skims owner repeated the same Marvel look with two of her friends dressed as Magik and Selene. Fans were quick to remember Saweetie's look and in no time the two started getting compared. While most were team Saweetie, some favored Kim for the detailing of the Mystique shells in the costume.

A fan said, "Personally it’s Ms Icy Girl for me," while another added, "Kim K look scary asl in that icl." A fan wrote, "Saweetie by a long shot…. It’s not even close." A fan tweeted, "If it’s who wore it better , saweetie if who paid attention to detail Kim k archer self." A fan shared, "Nah it’s Ms. Icy for me bc the body paint looks way more similar to the movies//comics than a leather ass bodysuit."

However, this year all the celebrities' Halloween costumes have been very well thought out and trendy.
