Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have called it quits after nine months of dating and Kardashians' critics have a fresh notion that highlights the adverse effects of their relationship. The Kardashians' fans feel that Kim, 41, who visited Pete, 28, in Australia was a hoax and merely an attempt to spice up the upcoming season of her Hulu show 'The Kardashians.'

As reported by The Sun, a person used an online forum to repost the following theory that was made to the Kardashians' fan account @deuxmoi: "An immediate family member works for Hulu in their Santa Monica office. She shared that Kardashian producers are scrambling to keep the Kim and Pete romance alive until Season 2 is finished airing."

Pete Davidson's 'immaturity' was cause of split with Kim Kardashian

They went on by adding: "Kim's trip to Australia was filmed in mid-June and didn't get the content they needed. Another filmed trip followed and was assumed to reignite their feelings and get some sexy moments between the two but it was obvious to everyone there's only tension between the two."

The source claimed, "Pete was annoyed by Kim's attempts at flirting and kept trying to get more space. The two have barely spoken in weeks despite reports saying otherwise. She also said don't expect to see Kanye next season."

"We obviously knew already that this announcement would be timed in the most beneficial way... but I'm cackling at the methodology and just how far the Kardashian-Jenners go to keep people around for ratings and how she just couldn't force him to stick around until the second season aired," a user commented on one of the Instagram posts.

Other users also posted their comments to express their own views on the novel theory: "Definitely believe she didn't wanna get dumped until after the next season aired. That's how her life works. Nothing is real, everything is image," a user concurred.

"Season 2 is their last, I think. The numbers for season 1 were so abysmal that they won't even release them, now they're hemorrhaging material...," a user guessed.

On Twitter, several people expressed their opinions. A user wrote, "The conspiracy theorist in me thinks Kim and Pete are only broken up to promote The Kardashians," to which a different user responded, "Pretty convinced that every relationship in the kardashian household is manufactured so you're prob right."

Another condemning Kris wrote, "Kris Jenner - no one is taken by surprise... the lengths the Kardashians will go to in order to shift the storyline. WE'RE. NOT. FOOLED. Everything is made up for publicity and a storyline. Pete was never Kim's type anyway. She's a mother of 4 children dating an underage child."
