Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson, who started dating nine months ago, have reportedly split. A few sources have spilled the beans on the two calling it quits, saying they have decided to be just friends. The blow comes amid the news of Kanye West getting dumped by a fifth attorney in concern with his divorce proceedings.
 
Pete Davidson, 28, is currently busy filming his movie ‘Wizards!’ in Australia whereas Kim Kardashian stays occupied with her TV shows, managing various businesses, and raising her four kids namely North, Psalm, Chicago and Saint with Kanye. Social media users were quick to react to the reports of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson heading in different directions.

Why did Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson SPLIT?

The news of Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson calling it quits was exclusively reported by E! Online. The insiders have claimed that the busy schedules of the two and the difficulty to balance personal and work life might be the reasons why Kim and Pete broke up. The insiders shared that while the duo has "a lot of love and respect for each other," their long distance and demanding schedules "made it really difficult to maintain a relationship." The two might have split sometime this week.  

Another source told Page Six that age difference might have contributed to the decision. Kim recently flew down to Australia to spend some quality time with Pete but it is still not clear what exactly happened that the two decided to pull the plug. Kim, who enjoys a whopping 328 million followers on Instagram, has, so far, not deleted her pictures with Pete.

Kim and Pete were first papped in October 2021 when they hit Knotts Berry Farm in LA with some of their buddies. The two first locked lips when Kim hosted ‘Saturday Night Live’ in October. They reportedly started dating in November 2021. In April, Kim and Pete made their red carpet debut together at The White House Correspondent's dinner. Pete also got the initials tattooed of Kim’s kids on his body. Kim Kardashian has not shared an official statement on her apparent split with the former ‘Saturday Night Live’ alum. Pete Davidson is also yet to make a formal announcement on the big news. MEAWW will keep you posted.

Social media users flocked to Twitter to share their valuable opinion on Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s apparent breakup. “Her thank u next era is approaching”, claimed one user while referring to Ariana Grande’s album. Ariana, for the unversed had earlier dated Pete. Another chimed in, “Pete and Kim K split up!!! AYO KANYE GET YO WIFE BACK.” One user asked, “Soooo what he gonna do abt that tattoo of the kids initials” as another posted, “Kim’s sweetener era is done, now onto her thank u next era x.”
 
The next one tweeted, “Damn, I was honestly rooting for them for some reason”. Meanwhile, one shared, “Kanye jumping in his yeezy boots rn.” Another added, “Wait really? I'm actually really shocked about this because I thought they were very happy together.” And, one shared, “Are we going to forget the tattoos he got of her kids and of her being a lawyer… yal.” An individual concluded, “So now he has 5 random kids's names engraved on his skin.”
