Kim Kardashian mingles with Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck at JR Ridinger’s star-studded memorial service
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, and Ben Affleck led the stars in saying goodbye at the funeral of Miami businessman J R Ridinger on Saturday, Oct 8. The reality personality TV was among a long list of celebrities who attended the event honoring the wealthy businessman, who died in September at the age of 63. Kim, 41, appeared at the ceremony to pay her last respects to the Market America inventor, wearing a long, black knit maxi dress. She wore her platinum blonde locks back in an elegant bun. She paired it with a pair of Balenciaga earrings and large, dark, futuristic sunglasses while carrying her belongings in a glittering, jeweled clutch bag.
The newlywed couple, Jennifer and Ben, on the other hand, came to the party holding hands, as both wore traditional black attire. Ben looked dapper in a three-piece suit, while Jennifer wore a low-cut strappy black dress and black peep-toe platform heels as they attended the event with their 14-year-old daughter, Emme. The couple, who married in July after rekindling their romance, were not accompanied by their other children: Jennifer's son Max, 14, and Ben's children Violet, 16, Seraphina, 13, and Samuel, 10. Jennifer was later spotted performing with Swizz Beats and chart-topping singer Alicia Keys at the memorial service.

Meanwhile, JR Ridinger’s wife Loren Ridinger revealed on Facebook that her heart had been torn out after learning that her husband had passed away from a pulmonary embolism on a yacht in Croatia. She wrote, "While I am unable to speak and I am in shock, you should know I am broken. My heart has been ripped out.” Loren then explained how her husband had been gone in just a second, and asked fans to pray and meditate for him.
"In just a second - he was gone. A moment. I am destroyed. I am broken into pieces. And I will never be the same again. I am shattered in every way possible. There is no love like our love. Please pray for me and my family. I love you @jrridinger for the rest of my life and beyond. It will only be you. 33 years of love together on this earth,” she added. On September 1, Kim also posted a tribute to the Market America CEO as she admitted he would be ‘so missed.’
She wrote, "Memories were what both of you were best at creating. Experience for everyone, a place where everyone felt so loved and special. JR will be so missed. I will always be here for you guys. I love you so much." Since the Ridingers were actively involved in the social scene, they had a long number of famous acquaintances, many of whom came to celebrate his life. Following his passing, tributes to the late businessman flooded in. Serena Williams, Victoria, and David Beckham, among many others, paid their thoughts on Loren's Instagram page and shared postings of their own in memory of JR.
