Christina Ashten Gourkani: Kim Kardashian lookalike, 34, dies of cardiac arrest after plastic surgery
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: An OnlyFans star who was also a Kim Kardashian megafan died from cardiac arrest just hours after a cosmetic procedure, her family has revealed. Thirty-four-year-old Christina Ashten Gourkani, popularly known as Ashten G, died in a California hospital while she was recovering from the surgery. Gourkani was popular because she resembled the OG Influencer Kim Kardashian herself.
Devastated family members said Christina's "sudden and tragic" demise on April 20 is being investigated as a homicide after a "medical procedure took a turn for the worse." They are now raising funds to cover expenses for her funeral, which is scheduled to take place on May 4.

"It is with deep sorrow and an immensely heavy broken heart that we have to share the most shattering, unfortunate, and unexpected passing of our beautiful beloved daughter and sister Christina Ashten Gourkani," the influencer's family wrote in the message for a GoFundMe campaign.
'Living nightmare'
Christina's family said they rushed to the hospital to be at her bedside after receiving a "frantic" phone call in the early hours of Thursday, April 20. They recalled the "living nightmare" of watching her deteriorate in the hospital after suffering a cardiac arrest. Christina's relative, Michael Gourkani, wrote on Facebook last week, "Our family needs a miracle to happen today please pray for a healthy heart we need all the blessings we can get right now."
The family later revealed that her "sudden and tragic passing" is currently being "investigated as a homicide related to medical procedure that took a turn for the worse."
'Everyone mattered to her'
Christina's loved ones are hoping to raise $40,000 for her funeral. "If you knew Ashten you knew that everyone mattered to her. She was such a caring and loving free spirit that always took the time to bring a smile to anyone's face she crossed paths with," Michael Gourkani wrote on the GoFundMe page. "She was the kind of person that would kneel down and talk to children at eye level, she searched for the lonely person in the corner and made them feel special as she has such a gift of connecting with people. On many occasions, I've seen her turn her adversaries into lifelong friends just after 10 seconds of pouring her charismatic joy, positive energy, and her beautiful smile that she gave to those around her. Ashten's spirit is a light that will forever carry on to her loved ones around her and those that she has left behind," he added.
Tributes from fellow influencers
Christina's fellow influencers extended their condolences and offered messages of support in the wake of her death. "I’m so so crushed to hear of your loss, gone too soon," OnlyFans model Maddison Fox wrote. "Ashten was beautiful just as her natural self."
"I still can't believe it," fellow influencer Kristhin Gomez reacted. "When I saw your story I was hoping it wasn't true... we will miss you so much. Always alive in our hearts," she added.
OnlyFans star Mary Magdalene also paid tribute on Instagram. "I don't know her, [but] I would always just randomly see her on Instagram and think she was really pretty but that is so sad she just died from plastic surgery," she wrote of Christina.
Mary, who is a plastic surgery addict herself, continued, "It is so scary because you really just never know when you're going to die from [risky surgery]. That's why I always tell my family to pull the plug if something happens because I don't want brain damage." She added, "Not me being dramatic but it's just stuff like this you can die or get brain damage and be a vegetable like you just never know...Anyways rest in peace to her that is so sad."
