Kim Kardashian has revealed that she is optimistic about her and the country's future and believes it's going to be a bright one, despite her husband Kanye West losing the presidential election to President-elect Joe Biden.

West had captured only 60,000 votes out of around 160 million votes for the American Independent Party. The reality star seemed more than content about the results of the current election which sees the incoming team of President-elect Biden and Vice-President elect Kamala Harris preparing to enter The White House. Seeming to be in an upbeat mood, the 40-year-old 'Keeping Up with The Kardashians' star posted a picture of herself sporting a leather vest and burgundy alligator skirt which accentuated her curves. Kim had captioned the image, "Our future looks bright." She was seen sitting down before participating in a photoshoot or virtual conference with her hand on her hip. She had her hair styled in a single waist-length braid. She sported a pouty look in the camera. She has not made any mention of her husband's failure to win at the elections and despite the defeat, Kanye has hinted that he's ready to run again for the Oval Office in four years.

Kim, on the other hand, had also recently taken to Twitter to support the incoming presidential administration on Saturday, November 7. She shared a photo of Biden and Harris in front of the US flag alongside blue love heart emojis on social media, as well as a clip of Harris telling Biden they'd won the election. During a recent appearance on David Letterman's Netflix series, 'My Next Guest Needs No Introduction', Kim refused to make any comments about Trump while she was repeatedly questioned about politics. However, she revealed that her friends and family had warned her not to step foot in the White House because they feared that her reputation would be ruined. During her response, she had replied saying that she had known she had "to step foot in there or these people's lives don't have a chance."

Kim's advocacy had pushed Trump to commute the life sentence of Alice Johnson who had spent two decades serving a life sentence for a nonviolent drug offense. Even though Kim has been constantly grilled about her relationship with Trump, she said that she is "extremely grateful" for the work of the Trump administration regarding criminal justice reform.

During the 2020 presidential election, Kim did not reveal who she was voting for and had only mentioned, "I know who I'm voting for." Her latest social media post comes after her husband conceded defeat in the election last Tuesday, November 3.

We had earlier reported that Kim had been feeling 'humble' as she celebrated her 40th birthday party on a private island. The 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star acknowledged her privilege as she treated the coterie of her friends and family. Kim turned 40 on October 21 and shared some images of the party she threw at a tropical Island that irked people on social media who slammed her for flaunting her wealth and status. She had taken to Twitter to share, "40 and feeling so humbled and blessed. There is not a single day that I take for granted, especially during these times when we are all reminded of the things that truly matter.”

She also added, "For my birthday this year, I couldn’t think of a better way to spend it than with some of the people who have helped shaped me into the woman I am today.” She continued, “Before Covid-19, I don’t think any of us truly appreciated what a simple luxury it was to be able to travel and be together with family and friends in a safe environment."
