Kim Kardashian or C-3PO? 'KUWK' star's Balenciaga tape outfit unleashes a wave of memes

Kim Kardashian has been compared to C-3PO, The Terminator, and RoboCop after she attended a Balenciaga show at the Paris Fashion Week wearing a caution tape outfit

Kim Kardashian graced Balenciaga's show at the Paris Fashion Week with her presence and yet another head-turning outfit. This time the 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians' star was covered in caution tape from her neck all the way down to her toes. 

Yet the iconic outfit by Kim has come with a cost. Footage that surfaced shows that after the show, she struggled to even walk normally with the outfit on. Looking at the way she was taking as she walked, fans and followers on Twitter unleashed a wave of memes and trolled her.

Kardashian has been compared to C-3PO, The Terminator, and RoboCop too. The New York Times fashion director Vanessa Friedman was an eye-witness of this iconic outfit. Speaking about it, Friedman said, "Kim Kardashian at the #Balenciaga show, wrapped in Balenciaga packing tape. She makes a sticky tape-y sound when she walks." The fashion director then added, "Side view of Kim in her Balenciaga packing tape outfit. '“I’m scared it’s going to rip when I sit down. Should I just let it rip?” (It didn’t rip.)."

As seen in the videos Kim shared on Twitter, four assistants were needed to get her into the outfit and tape her up. Before they put on all the tape, Kim had a skintight black bodysuit beneath with a pair of black boots.

Kim Kardashian leans back into her chair as the assistants religiously wound rolls and rolls of tape to create a Balenciaga bodysuit. Kim captioned it as, "CAUTION ⚠️ @BALENCIAGA ⚠️⚠️⚠️."

Users shared their opinions on Kim's outfit as one said, "You won 2022. This look is beyond! I can’t wait to see more outside of the box looks. What I love about you is that you dare to be different!"

Another called it art and said, "It’s an art project."

One user questioned, "This gives me anxiety just looking at it. What if she needed to pee? What if she had a itch? What if she got too hot? 😩🙈"

Criticism wasn't far as one user tweeted, "When you have to much money and are bored lol."

Kim Kardashian, who became the brand ambassador for the luxe brand last month, was one of many A-list names in attendance after Balenciaga invited guests to their show by sending them personalised broken iPhones.
