Kim Kardashian was seen having a good time as she celebrated her 42nd birthday

CALABASAS, CALIFORNIA: Kim Kardashian just celebrated her 42nd birthday on Friday, October 21. The SKIMS founder had an intimate celebration with friends and family, including Kourtney Kardashian and husband Travis Barker, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie Jenner, and mom Kris, as seen in pictures posted by TMZ. 

Stephanie Shepherd, Kim's former assistant, and Simon Huck, were also in attendance, who shared photos and videos from the party on their Instagram, including a clip of a white frosted birthday cake being presented to the guest of honor on a table adorned with large candles.

"HBD @kimkardashian love you," Huck wrote. Khloe was heard shouting at the birthday girl saying, "Blow b***h! Blow!"

According to The Sun, Kim shared her birthday menu on her Instagram stories which included sushi and dessert. At her candle-lit table, she had delicious choices of lobster tacos, baby artichoke salad and mochi ice cream. In another story, Kim pointed the camera at her mother, Kris, who stood at the end of the well-lit table, giving a speech, with a microphone hovering above her head. "I love you mom @krisjenner," she wrote.

The momager described the birthday girl as "a rock star." According to The Sun, she continued, "You are somebody that I am in awe of every single day. The way that you handle every single thing in life. You handle all of us. You handle your kids. You handle your life. You handle everything that comes your way. Not only do you do it for yourself, but you do it for the rest of us," she said. 

In a few other slides, Kim was seen doing jello shots with friends on a party bus and getting burgers from In-N-Out.

Kim received a couple really sweet videos. Kris posted vintage footage of Kim from one of her first birthday parties and added a complete montage that tracked Kim from a toddler, right up to present day. "Happy birthday to my beautiful Kimberly! @kimkardashian," she wrote. "You are still my little girl & at the same time you are the strongest woman I know. You handle everything that you go through with such incredible grace. You are such an amazing example of strength and calm through anything."

She continued in another tweet," You are an amazing mommy, daughter, granddaughter, auntie, sister, cousin and friend. You love so hard, you are so kind, loyal, supportive, smart, funny, creative, resilient, respectful of everyone and truly the most beautiful woman inside and out! You live life to the fullest and you make sure every single person you love in your life is ok and is taken care of .. thank you for bringing me so much joy and happiness and for loving me the way you do. I hope you have the most magical birthday and an incredible year."

She ended the thread saying, "I love you more than you will ever know. Mommy"
