Supposedly, the Grammy Award winner listens to Kim Burrell, according to the gospel singer. Burrell confessed that she healed the 'If I Were a Boy' singer during her marriage woes with rapper husband Jay-Z.

In an interview on ‘We Sound Crazy,’ the singer and healer said that, in 2017, when Jay-Z recorded his ‘4:44’ album which was mostly about forgiveness, the husband of the ‘Destiny’s Child’ star revealed it all to Burrell.

Even though the clip is from last year, it has become viral recently. The ‘Survivor’ crooner would lock herself up in a room when in distress with nothing but Burrell’s music, reports TMZ. Once she even locked herself for 11 hours after which she came out spiritually rejuvenated. In 2017, Burrell became a contributor of vocal to Jay-Z’s ‘4:44’.

In an interview to Praise 102.5 FM in 2017, Burrell said that one big name in the music business helped her when she faced criticism for her alleged homophobic comments. She told the listeners, “I’m going to tell you what really helped me.” Then she revealed that she went to meet with Jay-Z, “I flew out to LA…and I went to go meet with Jay-Z.” She then revealed another piece of family secret, “Jay-Z called me he says, ‘Kim, I always know when Beyoncé is going through something emotional or spiritual because I always hear you. She plays you really loudly through the house.’” Burrell further added that Jay-Z asked her to visit him in Los Angeles, “So he says ‘this time I need that Kim’ and ‘will you come to LA?” reports Globalgrind. The gospel music star also added that she then talked to the 'American Gangster' crooner for around two hours to know him better.

The rumor of Jay-Z cheating on his wife he married in 2008 surfaced in 2014 for the first time, reports Mirror. During that year’s Met-Gala, Jay-Z was seen lashing out at by Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles. Later the duo made a truce, however. In 2016, Beyonce released an album named ‘Lemonade’ which had songs on the topic of cheating and forgiveness making many speculate Beyonce was indeed getting cheated on. 2017 was a roller-coaster ride for the couple as in February they shared the news of welcoming twins via Instagram. 

Then during the month when the twins, Rumi and Sir were born, the rapper released his album ‘4:44’ which appeared to have the ‘Why I Love You’ singer address the alleged accusations. He sang, "Look, I apologize/Often womanize/Took for my child to be born to see through a woman's eyes."

In November of 2017, Jay-Z told the New York Times in an interview, “The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone’s face that you caused, and then have to deal with yourself,” further adding that the problems had their origin in his childhood, "Even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can't connect. In my case, like, it's deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity."

That why her music touches your soul.. cause it’s pain behind those notes." Another commented, "I thought my Kim Burrell tik tok was gonna go one way and it went all the way left in viral land. I was trying to focus on Beyonce and well they attacking Kim Burrell… oops!"

However one fan supported Beyonce saying, "I’m starting to think that y’all just want to have a problem with Kim Burrell!!! She said nothing wrong, shit Kim’s album is definitely healing. The world knew that Beyoncé was going through, she put out an entire album about her shit. Get over yourselfs."
